HORSE TREKKING – Beginning on the lake front, and under the guidance of our experienced station staff, the horse trekking trails cover much of the front country providing an ideal way to see the stations diverse landscape and spectacular views.
2 Hour Trek - $130 per person
4 Hour Trek - $200 per person
Maximum 4 max per trip and not suitable for children under 12 years. Prior Bookings essential.

SHEEP MUSTERING – This is a great opportunity to accompany one of the station shepherds on a sheep muster and experience first hand, the incredible ability of the sheep dogs as they respond to the shepherds commands.
$185 – maximum of 4 pax. Prior bookings essential.

CLAY TARGET SHOOTING – From a vantage point that offers spectacular views to the top of the lake, test your shooting skills under the guidance of our staff.
$ 50 per person ( 25 clay targets )
$ 75 per person ( 50 clay targets )

GUIDED FLY FISHING – For the true enthusiasts, Mt Nicholas is a fantastic location with the Von River being only a few minutes drive from the lodge and the world famous Oreti River is only a 30 minute drive away.
Also available is helicopter access to Fiordland's remote back country streams where you will not only have the opportunity of catching great fish, but will also see some of the most spectacular scenery in the world.
½ Day - $250  (up to 2 pax)
Full Day - $400 ( up to 2 pax )
Helicopter Time not included.

GUIDED HIKING – With over 100,000 acres to explore, the options are endless. The scenic beauty of the diverse landscape offers an unbelievable hiking experience where seclusion and privacy is guaranteed.
½ Day - $250 ( up to 4 pax )
Full Day - $400 ( up to 4 pax )
We can also customise overnight & Heli hike options to suit individual requirements, full details available on request. Good walking boots and a reasonable level of fitness are essential for all hiking options.

MILFORD SOUND SCENIC – The drive from Mt Nicholas Lodge through to Te Anau and then on to Milford Sound, allows you to fully appreciate the ever changing landscape that the southern region has to offer. This full day trip offers endless photo opportunities with the option of also including a Milford Sound Scenic Boat Cruise.
$450 – Maximum 4 pax. ( Boat cruise is not included )
Other options available also include an overnight boat cruise and heli scenic flights.

4WD FARM EXCURSION – This is a 3-4 hour trip which takes you over many of the out lying farm tracks and is an ideal way to get a true appreciation of the sheer magnitude of the property and learn about the history and challenges that are encountered in the farming operation.
$400 – Maximum 4 max.
